1. The building and its use
- Preferred width, length, height and door arrangement.
- What will be stored or done inside; whether heating or insulation is planned.
- Largest equipment dimensions, including attachments, mirrors and loads.
- Required clear door opening, side clearance, turning room and working aisle.
Use the size-planning guide. A nominal peak height and an illustrative layout do not confirm usable equipment clearance.
2. The installation site
- Installation address and a useful site plan or marked photograph.
- Ground conditions, drainage and any existing slab, footing or raised wall.
- Documents or questions received from your municipality or project professional.
- Who is arranging site work, foundation/anchoring review and any required approvals.
Review anchoring choices. Match the design and documents to the actual site and supplied building before committing to site construction.
3. Delivery and assembly
- Supplying Edmonton/Brampton hub or order-in basis, confirmed by MAX.
- Destination, road and entrance access, staging area and receiver contact.
- Customer unloading equipment and operator; any written exception.
- MAX installation or customer-arranged assembly, with the crew and equipment scope.
- Desired completion date, provisional delivery window and remaining conditions.
Prepare for delivery and understand the order payments.
4. Keep the quote complete
- Building and chosen options.
- Delivery inclusion or charge and any agreed extra services.
- Unloading, assembly, site work and engineering/document scope.
- Tax, starting payment, balance due date and schedule.
- One named person for each unresolved item.
Share the brief alongside your actual quote and applicable drawings. This checklist records questions; it is not a permit application, site approval or engineering design.
