Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about choosing your building, delivery, installation and ownership. See what is included and what needs to be confirmed for your project.

General

Financing is available through First Capital Leasing. Approval, payment schedules and terms depend on the lender and your application. Ask for an illustration for your selected building that explains the amount financed, payment frequency, term, taxes and any end-of-term amount. Explore financing.
MAX buildings use galvanized steel double-truss frames with PVC covers. The 30′–70′ range includes 750g PVC; the 80′ Industrial Series includes 900g PVC and its own heavier frame specification. See your selected model for its dimensions, openings and included components.
Check the specified PVC weight, construction, relevant product documentation and warranty for the exact model. MAX includes 750g PVC on the 30′–70′ range and 900g PVC on the 80′ Industrial Series. Fabric weight alone does not establish a building’s wind or snow capacity, or predict the life of a cover. Compare complete quotes.
The published range has 23 configurations across 30′, 40′, 50′, 60′, 70′ and 80′ widths. The 80′ Industrial Series has a nominal 37′ peak and lengths of 104′, 120′, 152′ and 200′. Confirm actual door clearance and usable interior space for your equipment. Compare sizes and current prices. Ask MAX about custom requirements before ordering.
Common enquiries include equipment and vehicle storage, farm supplies, workshops and commercial storage. Tell MAX how you intend to use the building, its location and whether it will be heated. Occupied spaces, livestock, riding arenas and other specialized uses need a project-specific suitability and approval review.
MAX combines published kit prices with a bolt-together frame, a replaceable cover and help choosing your building and arranging delivery. Compare the complete scope for your project: usable space, engineering, foundation, doors, installation, delivery and future maintenance. Compare building types and use the quote checklist.
We serve customers across Canada through Edmonton and Toronto-area distribution hubs. Our billing office, warehouse pickup locations and Edmonton viewing location have different purposes. See delivery, pickup and viewing details and confirm arrangements with MAX before travelling.
Choose a building and send your delivery town or postal code through our quote request, or call or text 587-800-4629. Tell us whether you need installation or have special access, door or engineering requirements. Published kit prices are available before you enquire; your quote confirms the selected scope and delivery arrangements.
Confirm your building, destination and scope with MAX. An available in-stock or inbound unit can be held with $200, credited to the price, and a provisional delivery week. The balance is due 10 business days before that week; if unpaid, the delivery slot is released. A special order with nothing inbound requires 20%; a custom build requires 50%. The 80′ Industrial Series is built to order with a 50% deposit and an approximate 90-day lead time. Confirm the applicable terms and schedule before paying. Read the order terms.

Installation & Site Prep

Installation can be quoted for your building and location. Confirm crew availability, equipment, travel, site preparation and anchoring requirements in the written scope. Self-assembly is also an option for suitable projects using the supplied model-specific instructions and an appropriate crew and equipment. Assembly time varies with the building and site.
The kit includes the double-truss galvanized steel frame, specified PVC cover, supplied hardware and anchoring, and assembly instructions. The 30′–70′ range has 750g PVC; the 80′ Industrial Series has 900g PVC. Door configuration and components follow the selected model and your quote. Confirm whether your site needs a different foundation or anchoring solution, and price installation and site work separately.
Check with the authority responsible for your property before ordering. Requirements depend on location, size, use and the proposed installation. MAX can help identify the available model documents and coordinate an engineering enquiry where needed. Model drawings, site-specific engineering and a permit are separate items; confirm the required documents, fees and responsibilities for your project.
A bolt-together building can be dismantled and reinstalled, subject to the condition of its components and the requirements of the new site. Plan the dismantling, transport, replacement parts, foundation or anchors and any required approvals before relocating it.

Anchoring & Foundations

The foundation or anchoring solution depends on the exact building, ground conditions, exposure and project requirements. Supplied ground stakes do not establish suitability for every property. Concrete, piles and other solutions may be appropriate after site review. Explore anchoring options.
Review the supplied anchoring details for your exact model and confirm that the proposed installation is suitable for your site. The kit’s supplied stakes are not a substitute for a site-specific foundation or anchoring design where one is required. Read the anchoring guide and discuss your ground conditions with MAX.
Tell MAX about the surface and underlying ground before choosing an anchoring method. Piles, concrete foundations, rock anchors or ballast can be considered where appropriate, but ground type alone is not enough to size or specify them. Confirm the selected design and its cost for your building and property.
Winter installation depends on ground conditions, access, the specified anchoring method and crew availability. Frozen ground can change the work and equipment required. Confirm the site plan and schedule before booking an installation.

Durability & Weather Resistance

Ask for the documents applicable to your exact model, revision and installation. Wind and snow requirements depend on the site, building configuration, foundation and anchoring. A single figure should not be applied to every MAX building or treated as site approval. For the 80′ range, review the Industrial engineering notes.
MAX specifies UV-treated PVC covers. Ask for the material information applicable to your selected cover. Actual service life depends on exposure, installation, tension, maintenance and damage; UV treatment is not a fixed service-life guarantee.
Cover life varies with exposure, installation, tension, maintenance and damage. Plan for inspections and eventual replacement rather than a guaranteed number of years. Published replacement-cover options help you plan ownership costs. The limited fabric warranty covers specified defects under its terms; it is not a prediction of service life.
Follow the instructions for your model. Inspect the cover, tensioning system, fasteners and anchoring, and check for damage after significant weather. Address loose or damaged components promptly and ask MAX for help identifying parts or the correct instructions. Use the applicable documentation for snow and weather precautions.

Shipping & Delivery

MAX arranges delivery across Canada. Any product stocked at, or ordered into, our Edmonton or Brampton (Toronto-area) hub qualifies for free delivery within 888 highway kilometres of that supplying hub. We confirm the product, supplying hub and destination in your quote. Being close to the other hub does not make a shipment from farther away free. Delivery beyond 888 highway km of the supplying hub is quoted before ordering. Unloading is the customer’s responsibility unless your written quote states otherwise. Review delivery and pickup arrangements.
Timing depends on whether your building is available stock, inbound or being manufactured for your order, along with payment, route and access arrangements. Confirm your delivery window with MAX. Inbound estimates can change. The 80′ Industrial Series is built to order with an approximate 90-day lead time; your confirmed order determines the schedule.
Yes. Once your paid package has been released, confirm the pickup location and warehouse hours with MAX before travelling. Check the package dimensions and weight, vehicle or trailer capacity, loading arrangements and transport requirements. See Edmonton and Toronto-area pickup details.

Warranty & Support

MAX publishes a 2-year manufacturing and material defect warranty and a 12-year limited fabric cover warranty, with fabric coverage prorated after year two. The written terms define coverage, remedies and exclusions, including installation or removal labour and freight exclusions for the fabric warranty. Read the warranty and proration schedule before purchase.
Yes. Replacement-cover packages and prices are published. Standard packages include the main cover, end walls, new ratchets and PVC tubing. Packages are made for the MAX building sizes we sell. Confirm your building size and frame condition before ordering. For a building from another seller, send its width, length, peak height and a photo of the end truss and we’ll tell you whether a stock size fits. If none does, we can’t supply a cover for it.

Pricing & Ordering

Published MAX kit prices currently range from $8,888 to $160,888 CAD + tax. The kit includes the specified frame, cover, hardware and supplied anchoring. Installation, site work and other project requirements are separate. See every current kit price and installation base, then request a quote for your selected scope and destination.
MAX arranges transport to your delivery address. The building arrives as packaged components for assembly. Free delivery within 888 highway km of the hub supplying your order. The rule applies to any product stocked at or ordered into that supplying hub. Unloading is the customer’s responsibility unless your written quote states otherwise. Your quote confirms the hub, destination, delivery charge or inclusion, access, package dimensions and weights, and any agreed extras. Prepare for delivery.
Assembly time depends on the model, configuration, site readiness, crew experience, equipment and weather. Ask MAX for a realistic plan for your building. The frame uses bolt-together construction, but appropriate lifting equipment, tools and a safe assembly sequence are still required. Follow the supplied instructions for your exact model.
Compare the selected model’s frame, cover, usable openings, included components, documents, delivery, installation and warranty. MAX publishes kit prices and includes 750g PVC on the 30′–70′ range and 900g PVC on the 80′ Industrial Series. Ask us to explain the scope alongside another written quote. Use the comparison checklist.
